Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PrimeFix Niagara's website and appliance repair services across St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and the surrounding region. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, requesting a quote, or otherwise using our services and website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

PrimeFix Niagara provides diagnostic and repair services for residential and small-business household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, cooktops, and dishwashers. We reserve the right to decline service where a repair is unsafe, uneconomical, or beyond the scope of our expertise.

Booking & Appointments

Appointments are subject to technician availability. We make every effort to honour requested time slots and same-day service, but arrival windows are estimates and may shift due to traffic, prior jobs, or unforeseen circumstances. An adult must be present at the service address during the visit.

Pricing & Payment

A diagnostic service call fee applies and is credited toward the repair if you proceed. Repair quotes are provided before work begins, and we obtain your approval before performing any chargeable service. Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee. If our technician cannot complete a visit due to factors outside our control, we will reschedule at the earliest available time.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the appliance and a hazard-free work environment. Please ensure pets are secured and the area around the appliance is clear. You are responsible for backing up or removing any food, dishes, or belongings before service.

Please Read Carefully

Limitation of Liability

We perform all work with professional care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service performed.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or appliances already at the end of their service life.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages such as food spoilage or loss of use.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.

Warranty

Our repairs are backed by a labour warranty, and parts carry manufacturer coverage. Full details, including coverage periods and exclusions, are set out on our Warranty Terms page, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of PrimeFix Niagara and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our written permission. Brand names referenced on this site belong to their respective manufacturers.

Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page with a revised effective date.
